Project Overview
From a challenging U‑shaped, multi‑level plot, this project was about more than just design, it was about renewal. The client had recently lost her husband and endured a difficult few years. She wanted a space that was safe, low maintenance, and uplifting, somewhere she could spend time all year round and feel proud of.
Coming out of Hampton Court 2025, we collaborated with pond contractors to create a beautiful stream. With a tight budget, the stream was designed without running water but still captures the essence of flowing movement. Large boulders sourced from All Green were used to form dramatic steps leading down through the garden.
Two beautiful patio areas were installed using beige porcelain slabs from London Stone. Their limestone like detailing brings elegance and warmth to the scheme. Planting was carefully chosen to thrive in the garden’s shady conditions, with gravel beds and shade loving species adding texture and depth.
To complete the transformation, we integrated an outdoor kitchen, allowing the client to cook and entertain outside while enjoying the gentle sound of the water feature. Every corner of the garden now offers a “wow factor,” turning what was once a dangerous, unmanageable bank into a sanctuary of beauty and use.
